Its something that will be in my head all summer and for years and years to come. I was sitting in the American Airlines Arena wearing my Thunder gear, and left and right Heat fans were jumping around and going nuts. The clock was winding down; 3…2…1. With Rip Hamilton out for the seventh consecutive night, the Bulls took the floor without their starting backcourt for the second night in a row. The Portland Blazers, on the other hand, were on the road against the Bulls as interim head coach Kaleb Canales had his debut. The State of the NBA: The Past, The Present & The Foreseeable Future

As we all know, the NBA locked out the players this summer for 149 days in hopes of creating competitive balance, improving revenue sharing and putting a bit of money back in to the owners pockets.
