Who would have thought that a lottery talent would have fallen all the way to 28? It was a gift. Perhaps Perry Jones III fell down to 28 because of his health concerns as he was medically red flagged prior to the draft, and that might have been the reason teams passed on him.  The 6’11 forward averaged 13.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists last year at Baylor. Its something that will be in my head all summer and for years and years to come. I was sitting in the American Airlines Arena wearing my Thunder gear, and left and right Heat fans were jumping around and going nuts. The clock was winding down; 3…2…1. The Miami Heat won the 2012 NBA championship. In the years to come, hopefully, it is the other way around. Talk about letting a game slip away. Tonight was a pure example. It was kind of like a wet floor after being mopped. The Thunder were right there, and let it go. You could see it coming. When the Thunder were down seven going into half, I was saying,”This game is far from over.” This whole year, Oklahoma City showed that they are a resilient team, with lots of heart.
